Extensive understanding of public-company corporate governance acquired through 13 years of service on the Board of Directors of Capstone Green Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: CGRN), formerly Capstone Turbine Corporation(NASDAQ: CPST). Expertise in executive compensation planning and administration, leadership coaching & development, senior executive succession planning, Board refresh strategies, and stockholder engagement & investor relations, having served for 10 years as the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee.
Demonstrated expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, the design and implementation of corporate strategies for sustainability, and corporate responsibility, as well as practical experience in corporate policy, government relations, community affairs, marketing, sales, and operations.
Specific functional competencies include: strategic planning, development, and execution; ESG policy and program development and deployment; establishment and facilitation of relationships with government legislators, trade associations, and NGOs; the development of key stakeholder alliances from community level to corporate Board level; and eCommerce business development.
Currently a civilian volunteer with the U.S.Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol; America’s premier public service organization for carrying out emergency services and disaster relief missions nationwide.
